Quality Criteria
The quality of our PXB-mice is certified by our quality criteria and only the animals matching these criteria are used for providing study services.
Quality Criteria
Age:10 - 14 weeks
Body Weight:≥ 12 g
human Albumin: ≥ 7 mg/mL
According to confirmed in house data, mice with a human Albumin concentration of over 7mg/mL have a replacement index (RI) of over 70 percent.
Criteria Related Data
This graph represents the average progression of the human Albumin level in a PXB mouse with an RI of over 70 percent. The Albumin value begins to rise from the age of 5 to 6 weeks and stabilizes at around 10 weeks. To insure stable Albumin levels we only use mice between the ages of 10 to 14 weeks for our study services.
This graph represents the body weight development of an average PXB-mouse with an RI of over 70 percent. The average body weight is between 15 and 17 grams at 10 to 14 weeks of age when the mice are used for study services.
